Context: Stu mentioned someone we work with had a friend that was looking for babysitting work. Conveniently, we need someone who can babysit Graham at night sometimes.
Lauren: Do you think I should try and interview her before Friday night?
Stu: What's Friday night?
Lauren: Our anniversary!
Stu commences graveling and explaining how he didn't forget.
As it turns out all men do in fact forget their anniversaries, and perhaps 5 years is the magic number when it starts happening. I know he didn't really, we've been talking about it for a couple of weeks, but it was still pretty funny!

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome...totally been there! And I strategically planned our anniversary on a well-known national holiday so that hopefully it would never happen! And yet it still does!
